| In the month of Karthikai,
Mondays are important to Lord
Shiva. Abhishekams, Archana etc. performed on these days
confer immense benefits on the devotees. On the last Monday
of the Karthikai (09-12-2002)
Sankhabhishekam was performed to Lord
Sundareswara and Tharaka Parameshwara as below: |

A contribution of Rs.50/- only per
conch was
accepted from 112 devotees on first come first serve basis. A bottle of Abhisheka Thirtham (water) has been reserved for each of the donors. The special Abhishekam done according to Aagamic rites and was spiritually very interesting.
Kindly keep participating in large numbers at all festivities and functions organised at the temple. |

Karthikai Deepam |

| As in the last year hundreds of deepam will
be lit in the month of Karthikai (from 17-11-2002 to
15-12-2002). Deepam will be lit daily and placed in and
around the temple on the hillock. Nominal contribution of
Rs.5/- only per deepam will be collected. Devotees may contribute for one deepam for each of their family members or one deepam daily or a fixed number of deepams on fixed day/days. Donations in kind (wicks, Oil, anddeewas) will also be gratefully accepted in addition to cash contributions. |

Tiru Karthikai Deepam

| The Tiru Karthikai Deepam festivities were
conducted and performed in attendance of hundreds of devotees on
Wednesday, 20th November, 2002 . The Devotees offered their prayers at the Sannidhis and sought blessings of The Almighty. Many of them lit Deepams also. |
